Editorial Services
Proofreading
Proofreading is the final stage of editing and includes correcting typographical errors and identifying any inconsistencies in formatting and layout, ensuring a manuscript is polished and error-free.
Copy Editing
Perhaps the most important—and most customizable—stage of the editing process, copy editing focuses on the mechanics of writing, ensuring clarity, consistency, accuracy, and readability by correcting spelling, grammar, usage, and punctuation.
Line Editing
Sometimes referred to as stylistic editing, line editing focuses on refining the language, style, and flow of a text by improving sentence structure, word choice, and clarity, ensuring that the writing is engaging and effective.
Structural Editing
Typically an earlier stage in the editing process, structural editing focuses on organization and flow. It may involve reorganizing sections, refining arguments, or restructuring paragraphs to enhance clarity and coherence.
Consulting
Regardless of where you are in the writing process, we provide personalized advice and strategies to create a clearer, more compelling narrative. We assist with everything from idea development to revisions for interest or readability.
